February-March: The preferred period for many guests who want both aurora and daylight activities. Getting There: Luleå Airport (LLA) is approximately 70 km south of Harads, about 1 hour by car. Luleå has regular SAS and Norwegian flights from Stockholm (1.5 hours) and other Swedish cities. Car rental at the airport is essential - no public transport serves Harads. The drive north from Luleå along Route E45 through the Lule River valley is a scenic Arctic introduction.
